Out of all the things I had photographed, birdhouse ornaments are the most difficult. Very few of the ornaments have flat bottoms. They are all curves and pointy ends, so they will not sit vertically at all.

My first thought was to hang them up. I have a hanger I made for displaying ornaments, but most of the birdhouse ornaments are too long for it. However, the most significant issue I had with hanging ornaments is that they move. Any air movement at all in the room will cause them to start swinging. A yawn or someone walking into the room will start the motion. If the air conditioner kicks on, you can forget taking any photos.

Using the garland is the best thing I have come up with so far, but even that has issues. This birdhouse is round on the bottom and being bottom-heavy too boot it wants to slide right through the garland,
