This handcrafted wooden puzzle is made from wood rather than plastic. It is designed to encourage focus and creative play.

This 15-piece interlocking bear puzzle is entirely handmade in my Toymaker’s Shop using traditional woodworking tools. Each piece is carefully cut, then meticulously hand-sanded and tested for a perfect fit. Once assembled, the puzzle receives a food-safe finish of USP Grade Mineral Oil blended with Beeswax. The result is a smooth, beautiful surface that highlights the wood's natural grain while adding protection.

I inspect every stage of the build and reject up to pieces that do not meet my quality standards. This process ensures the received puzzle is solid and smooth, with well-fitting pieces.

Approximate Dimensions:

• Height: 4-1/4 inches
• Length: 10 inches
• Thickness: 3/4 inches

The completed bear stands freely on its own and can be used as a decorative item or a puzzle.

All materials used are nontoxic. Because each puzzle is crafted from natural wood, slight variations in grain, color, and thickness are normal and add to the piece's unique character.

Other sizes and colors may be available through custom orders.

Handmade in my shop from quality hardwood, the Cougar Family Stacker Puzzle features a mom, dad, and babies. Each piece is shaped, sanded smooth, and  finished.

The puzzle captures the spirit of the mountain lion, also known as the cougar or panther. I hand-shape every part from natural wood, then sand all edges thoroughly to remove any sharpness. For the finish, I apply a custom blend of USP-grade mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax while hot. This process ensures deep penetration and creates a durable, food-safe surface that highlights the wood’s natural beauty.

Approximate Size

• Length: 10.5 inches
• Height: 5.25 inches
• Thickness: 3/4 inch

This stacking puzzle stands easily on a shelf, windowsill, or even a 3/4-inch or wider door frame. Each individual piece doubles as a delightful pretend toy, perfect for sparking a child’s imagination.

This toy is handmade from natural wood and may vary slightly from the photos in the listing. Wood grain and dimensions can differ from piece to piece. The puzzle is not intended for children under three years old or for any child who still puts things in the mouth.
