Using traditional woodworking tools, I handmade this wood toy seal cutout in my Toymaker's Shop. It is sanded and finished with a clear coating. The seal is free-standing and makes a great stacking toy when combined with other similar toys.

My grandson has many small animal cutouts he loves to stack in many different ways. I think he plays with them more than any other toy I have made for him.

I make these from small cutoffs reclaimed from the scraps leftover from other projects. The dimensions will vary slightly from those listed above. Unfortunately, he started playing with them before I had the chance to take photos. All the parts for the truck, except for the wheels, can be made from wood purchased at a big box store. I used a scroll saw to cut the body from a 2x4 section, but a piece of 2x6 would be easier. I had to reduce the body size to avoid the rounded corners on the 2x4.
