My Itty Bitty Animal Collection

I created this wood toy dog cutout from unfinished wood in my toy maker's shop. It has been sanded smooth and is ready for painting if you choose. The puppy stands freely and works wonderfully as a stacking or pretend toy alongside other items from my Itty Bitty Animal Collection. The puppy is approximately 2.5 inches tall. Custom orders are available for different sizes and quantities.

I have crafted hundreds, if not thousands, of animal cutouts, many of which are still being used over 40 years after their initial creation. Kids love these toys; they are truly generational.

But Now I've made a lot of these little wooden toy trucks. Each one is carefully cut on my scroll saw and hand-sanded until they are smooth to the touch. Any toys with no repairable defects are dent to the designer kindling pile. My goal is to make toys as high quality as I possibly can. This version of the truck is hand finished with clear shellac and hand-rubbed, waxed, and polished to a satin finish. These are some of my favorite toys to make.
