Today In The Toymakers Shop - Sanding Toy Trucks On A Ridgid Spindle Sander
Handmade Wood Toy Truck On A Spindle Sander I got in some shop time yesterday. I'm working on a batch of toy trucks. They always seem to be sold out. Inside corners are challenging to sand well, and I try to change the designs so I can use the spindle sander to do the bulk of the sanding in the corners. There are better spindle sanders available, but they are costly. I particularly don't like the plastic insert on the Ridgid spindle, but it is relatively inexpensive and gets the job done. The oscillating belt sander can be very handy to use on many projects.
