 This adorable little wooden kitten is part of my Itty Bitty Animals Collection – a charming lineup of tiny freestanding animal cutouts perfect for creative play.

Crafted in my toymaker’s shop in Tallahassee, Florida, using traditional woodworking tools, each kitten is cut from solid wood, carefully sanded smooth, and left unfinished so you (or your little one) can paint, stain, or decorate it however you like. The simple, classic shape makes it easy for small hands to hold and stack.

My grandson loves lining these up and building towers in all sorts of creative ways – they make wonderful open-ended stacking toys that encourage imagination and fine motor skills.

Crafted from  natural wood in my toymaker’s shop using traditional woodworking tools, each piece is carefully hand-sanded and finished with a protective blend of mineral oil and beeswax that I mix myself. The warm, smooth finish highlights the wood's natural grain.

This freestanding puzzle measures about 9" tall, 5" long, and 3/4" thick. Its delightfully tippy nature is part of the fun, adding an extra layer of challenge as you balance the goats and sheep.

My five-year-old grandson assembled it in under a minute , but some adults have found it surprisingly tricky. That makes it perfect for advanced toddlers, older kids, and even grown-ups who enjoy a satisfying brain-teaser. If you have never seen this puzzle assembled, it can be challenging to assemble.
