Handmade in my shop from quality hardwood, the Cougar Family Stacker Puzzle features a mom, dad, and babies. Each piece is shaped, sanded smooth, and finished.

The puzzle captures the spirit of the mountain lion, also known as the cougar or panther. I hand-shape every part from natural wood, then sand all edges thoroughly to remove any sharpness. For the finish, I apply a custom blend of USP-grade mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax while hot. This process ensures deep penetration and creates a durable, food-safe surface that highlights the wood’s natural beauty.

I made this Bison Family Puzzle using traditional tools and select-grade hardwoods. Featuring Mom, Dad, and babies, each piece is carefully shaped, sanded smooth, and finished to make a freestanding puzzle.

I apply a special blend of USP Grade Mineral Oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax while hot, allowing it to penetrate deeply into the wood for a finish that feels wonderful in the hand. Every edge receives extra attention, so the puzzle has no sharp corners. Once assembled, this piece will sit on a shelf, windowsill, or even a standard door frame. The individual animals also work as pretend-play toys.

Each puzzle undergoes careful assembly and testing throughout the entire building process. I reject pieces at various stages if I spot any defects that can’t be corrected. This handmade wooden toy flatbed lumber truck is part of the Easy 5 Truck Fleet Collection. I make each one to order in my toymaker’s shop using traditional woodworking tools. The truck features a hand-painted body with acrylic paint and a bed and wheels finished with amber shellac. A wide range of colors and finishes is available, including oils or no finish at all.

Color options include many shades and finishes, with lighter colors sometimes costing more due to extra coats and sanding. Nearly any color is possible, and custom orders are always welcome.

The truck is part of a series of five vehicles. One truck in the collection is a tow truck equipped with a hook under the front bumper to pull the others.
