An unfinished 3/4-inch thick Halloween Skull cut by hand on a scroll saw. It has been lightly sanded with 220 grit sandpaper and is ready to be painted. Unlike many thinner cutouts, these are freestanding and make good pretend toys. I can make these in any size.

I made the first batch of these for my grandson, Odin. He is crazy about anything Halloween-related. Some friends saw them and wanted them too. They are Halloween decorations, but for my grandson, they are toys. He builds haunted houses from blocks and uses them for occupants.

Unfortunately, he started playing with them before I had the chance to take photos. All the parts for the truck, except for the wheels, can be made from wood purchased at a big box store. I used a scroll saw to cut the body from a 2x4 section, but a piece of 2x6 would be easier. I had to reduce the body size to avoid the rounded corners on the 2x4.
