Wood being a natural material, every piece is different. The balance points point changes with each toy I build. The first thing is to get the feet even so they sit flat on the table. Once they are flat and the glue is cured, I test them to see for stability. If T-rex isn't stable, I carefully sand the bottom of the feet at a slight angle to change the balance (center of gravity?) point slightly. This process is repeated until I get the results I want. I make these from select grade hardwoods in my Toymaker's Shop using traditional hand tools. They are made from select grade hardwoods, sanded smooth, and finished with a blend of USP grade mineral oil and beeswax I make in my shop.
