Custom sizes and quantities, and materials are available via custom order. Pine, Oak, Poplar, Plywood, and MDF materials are readily available. Other wood types are much more costly.

Thicknesses are available in 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch, 1/2-inch, and 3/4-inch. Thinner cutouts may only be available made from plywood due to strength considerations.

I can easily make these in any size up to 8-inches wide. Larger sizes are available at additional cost. Larger sizes require hiring a print shop to print the patterns, but I can make them.

I made the first batch of these for my grandson, Odin. He is crazy about anything Halloween-related. Of course, they are great Halloween decorations, but for my grandson, they are toys. He builds haunted houses from blocks and uses them for occupants.

Boo Crew Ghosts' eyes have been drilled with about 400 pulls on the drill press handle, the patterns removed, and edge sanding is done. They are now ready for the belt sander. Each side will be sanded flat and checked for defects. Defective ghosts get to be designer kindling.

Handmade Speedy Wheels Toy Car Body Cut In Half For Finishing

Painting or finishing a two-tone wooden toy car body and getting a neat, clean line between the colors is tricky. Masking does not work well on wood toys because the finish tends to bleed through the wood fibers under the masking tape, creating a fuzzy edge. I can apply coats of sealer and do lots more sanding to alleviate this problem. However, I have found that cutting the body in half, painting both halves, and gluing them back together produces a satisfactory result, and it is much easier.
