If you’re a fan of handcrafted wooden cars, now’s your chance to add a truly unique piece to your collection. My Bad Bob’s Custom Motors sedans are almost gone! Only a few remain, and I won’t be able to make any more in this classic design—spoked wheels are no longer available, making these last few models especially rare.

 

What sets these sedans apart isn’t just their scarcity, but the dedication poured into every detail. Each one is painstakingly assembled, but the real labor is in the finishing process. I start with multiple coats of white primer to fully hide the wood grain and create a bright base for the vibrant colors. Every layer of acrylic paint is applied by hand, with sanding between coats for a flawless finish. Some colors, like yellow, demand extra attention and patience, requiring many more coats to achieve the perfect look. The iconic white fenders aren’t painted at all—they’re the result of carefully applied white primer. Once the paint is fully cured, each sedan receives a clear acrylic topcoat for durability, and the wheels are finished with amber shellac for a warm, classic touch.
