  Wood Toy Car, Hot Rod '27 T-Coupe, Handmade and Finished with Amber Shellac with Black Acrylic Paint   I love hot rods. I would love to build my own, but I don't have the time or money. I'll have to be content with making toys like this simplified version of a 1927 Ford T-Coupe and attending an occasional car show. I have many more Hot Rods available in my Etsy shop. This handmade wooden toy car for adults or kids is durable and made for play but nice enough for any decor. I made this Hot Rod in my toymakers shop using traditional woodworking tools. The toy car's body and wheels are finished with amber shellac. All of the black trim is acrylic paint. I make every effort to make sure my toys perform well. In many cases, it MDF stronger than the lower cost woods. If you are going to paint the cutout, MDF takes paint very well. Unless you want the wood grain look, MDF is one of the best options.
