Koala Color Experiment Using Shellac and WATCO Danish Oil

The puzzle parts are finished with two colors of shellac and WATCO Danish Oil. Much to my surprise, the WATCO Danish Oil still has a strong odor after two weeks. I contacted Rust-Oleum support, and they told me it could take several weeks for the smell to dissipate. The odor is unacceptable for my purposes. I need to be able to make an item, pack it, and ship it to the customer in two days if possible; having a finish that is still outgassing after weeks will not work.

I used a scroll saw to cut the body from a 2x4 section, but a piece of 2x6 would be easier. I had to reduce the body size to avoid the rounded corners on the 2x4.
